Welcome to Primal Tennis. I started this website as an effort to highlight tennis around the world through stories, video, and photography. This website is about the people, the locations, and the love of the game.
I have been playing tennis since 2002, when I fell in love with the sport at age 13. Since then, I have worked many jobs involving tennis, including, tennis instruction, court maintenance, pro shop, tournament facilitating, and stringing racquets. I currently have a USTA rating of 5.0, and am a former college player at Charleston Southern University.
Although, I am an advanced tennis player, I enjoy playing with different levels. It’s all about love for the game. Tennis is a universal language that knows no borders. It’s about bonding, making friends, and a little healthy competition. I’ve found through my travels that almost anyone will play with you if you bring a smile, a tennis racquet, and a can of balls.
It is my mission with this website to bring attention to where and how tennis is played around the world, and to have a little fun along the way. I hope to see you out on the court soon.
